Master’s Degree Programmes

Master’s degrees at Finnish universities of applied sciences (AMK) are advanced degrees focused on professional development that deepen specialized expertise and skills. Master’s degree studies are strongly work-oriented. For example, the thesis is tightly integrated with work during the entire programme. Degree programmes consist of 90 credits. All master’s programmes are blended learning programs.

An applicant to a master’s program must hold a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, gained after completion of the bachelor’s degree. Detailed educational qualification and work experience requirements are defined separately in the description of each programme.
